Mala Bay
ü It is the one and only artificial wave in Asia. The 2.4-high wave, known as the” Big Wave”, is created using the world’s most advanced artificial wave-generating machine. The excitement it brings is simply beyond imagination. The highlight is the big wave that comes at excited tourists, who are completely soaked in the turbulent wave. The wave comes in different patterns including one of the world wonders, the Sky Wave (轟天浪), the block wave that dances in the water, and the glittering diamond wave. The Mala Dou Dou Bridge (馬拉抖抖橋) that stretches across the big wave welcomes daring tourists to walk across it.
ü In July 2008, the world’s most popular surfer, the “Shark Surfer”, was introduced. It is the only recreational facility for surfing in Taiwan. It not only satisfies surfers’ needs to maneuver high waves at high velocities, a variety of different wave levels are also designed to meet surfers’ individual needs. Whether you are a professional surfer or an amateur one, the “Shark Surfer” will make surfing lovers’ heart thrill with excitement. Be ready to show your excellent skills and see if you are bolder than all the rest. Only the winner will be able to complete the course and conquer the high waves. Experts are welcome to challenge themselves in surfing.
ü The changing water slide “Aumuhu” is a rarity seen in Taiwan. The 9-floor slides include: stall speed slide, ladder slide, shuttle slide, and rainbow slide for you to choose. You have already reached the ground while your screams are still in the air. Players who wish to challenge their limits of courage are welcome to come and experience the excitement!
Discovery
ü The world’s first off-track roller coaster is here. In the short span of 140 seconds, you will experience fun and excitement on the ride. The off-track roller coaster plunges to the end of the cliff from a height of 17 floors. Before you recover from the shock, the roller coaster stays in the air for several seconds to connect to the off-tract coaster and plunges down 90 degrees freefall style into the dark black hole and rotates 360 degrees upward. It will definitely make your heartbeat shoot to 200 and keep you coming back for more!
ü The “Wild River Canyon” is the only tropical rainforest theme based facility in Asia. The splashes upon impact and the bubbles are so real that the round rubber boats move fast in the water track. They spin from time to time to add to the excitement. Riders will feel as if they have passed turbulent currents. It is one of the “must-try” 5-star facilities for tourists.
ü The “Wild-Crazy Flume” combines rafting and roller coaster ride. Tourists will feel the sharp freefall at maximum speeds and the fun of rafting. There are also fountains and water bombing that attack unexpectedly. Tourists are guaranteed a whole new refreshing and exciting experience.
